Process for the preparation of hydroperoxides of alkylbenzenes characterized by the fact that the alkyibenzene reacts with oxygen in the presence of a catalytic system consisting of an N- hydroxyimide associated with a peroxide activator having a peracid or dioxyrane structure, possibly generated in situ.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant la préparation d'hydroperoxydes d'alkylbenzènes, lequel procédé se caractérise par la réaction de l'alkylbenzène avec l'oxygène en présence d'un système catalytique constitué d'un N-hydroxyimide associé à un activateur péroxyde présentant une structure peracide ou dioxyrane, si possible produit in situ.
