L'invention concerne un corps central pour canal d'échappement des gaz d'un turboréacteur. Le corps comporte une paroi externe (11) et au moins une paroi interne (15) formant au moins une cavité (20) entre elles, la paroi externe (11) comportant une pluralité d'orifices percés sur au moins une portion amont, de manière à former au moins un résonateur de Helmholtz avec la cavité (20). Le corps central est caractérisé par le fait que la paroi interne comprend un manchon souple (15). L'invention permet d'obtenir un corps central assurant une atténuation acoustique à bas coût, d'industrialisation aisée et de bonne tenue mécanique.
