The centrifugal force drive machine for generating force in a controlled direction is provided. The machine includes a machine frame (2) having a shaft (4) mounted thereto for rotation about its axis (A). The drive mechanism is provided to rotate the shaft (4) about its axis (A). At least one mass (8) is mounted on the shaft (4) for rotation therewith. Each mass (8) has a center of gravity (CG) which is moveable radially with respect to the shaft (4) between the position in which the mass is rotationally balanced about the shaft (Fig. 1) and a position in which the mass is unbalanced (Fig. 3). A control member (14) in an operative connection between the mass (8) and the frame (2) is provided to constrain radial movement of the mass (8) between the balanced position and the unbalanced position during each revolution thereof. When a mass is in the unbalanced position, the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the mass is transmitted to the control member (14), thereby generating a linear force in the controlled direction (CD).
Machine d'actionnement basée sur la force centrifuge, destinée à générer une force dans une direction commandée. Ladite machine comporte un châssis (2) doté d'un arbre (4) monté sur ledit châssis et destiné à tourner autour d'un axe (A). Le mécanisme d'actionnement est destiné à faire tourner l'arbre (4) autour de son axe (A). Au moins une masse (8) est montée sur l'arbre (4) afin de tourner avec ce dernier. Chaque masse (8) possède un centre de gravité (CG) qui est déplaçable radialement par rapport à l'arbre (4) entre la position dans laquelle la masse est en équilibre de manière rotationnelle autour de l'arbre (Fig. 1) et une position dans laquelle la masse est en déséquilibre (Fig. 3). Un élément de commande (14) placé en connexion opérationnelle entre la masse (8) et le châssis (2) est destiné à provoquer le mouvement radial de la masse (8) entre la position d'équilibre et la position de déséquilibre pendant chaque révolution de ladite masse. Lorsqu'une masse est dans la position de déséquilibre, la force centrifuge générée par sa rotation est transmise à l'élément de commande (14), produisant ainsi une force linéaire dans la direction commandée (CD).
