CHECK VALVE FOR A PARENTERAL SOLUTION DELIVERY SYSTEM ABSTRACT A check valve for a parenteral solution delivery system is provided and is comprised of a movable circular check valve plate attached to an inflexible plate by a flexible, extendable hinge. A valve seat is provided and opposes the check valve plate. A flexible diaphragm disk is also provided with a central flow passageway between the inlet check valve plate and the valve seat wherein the check valve plate is movable to seat the diaphragm disk on the valve seat.
