A chip conveyor includes an endless carrier that circulates in a predetermined direction such that chips discharged by machine tools are collected at a collecting position, are carried to a discharging position, which is spaced from the collecting position by a predetermined distance, and are discharged at the discharging position. The carrier follows an upper path from the collecting position to the discharging position and returns through a lower path from the discharging position to the collecting position. A reservoir tank is provided to correspond to the lower path of the carrier. The carrier passes through the reservoir tank, and chips attached to the carrier are separated from the carrier in a liquid in the reservoir tank.
L'invention concerne un transporteur de copeaux dans lequel un corps transporteur sans fin circule dans une direction spécifiée. Le transporteur collecte les copeaux déchargés d'une machine-outil au niveau d'un poste de collecte, transporte les copeaux dudit poste jusqu'à un poste de décharge situé à une distance spécifiée du poste de collecte et les décharge au niveau du poste de décharge. Le corps transporteur (18) se déplace du poste de collecte au poste de décharge suivant un trajet supérieur, tourne au niveau du poste de décharge et revient au poste de collecte suivant un trajet inférieur. Il avance jusqu'à un réservoir (28) de liquide installé au-dessous du trajet inférieur du corps transporteur, de façon que les copeaux collés sur le corps transporteur (18) soient séparés de ce dernier à l'intérieur du liquide contenu dans le réservoir (28).
