A clip device for fixing the ends of the bows of a tied shoelace on a shoe comprises a base plate which can be fixed to the shoe. m e base plate has at least one spring clip portion which extends along the base plate. The spring clip portion can be lifted away from the surface of the base plate against its spring force to provide an insertion opening for the shoelace bow ends to be introduced between the spring clip portion and the base plate.
