A clip on fastener (100) is provided that features a pair of spaced apart legs (2) and (6) extending from a closed end (9) to an open end (10) of fastener(100). Leg (6) includes a pair of resilient arms (16 and 18) that extend away from the side of the leg (6) facing away from leg (2) and end in overhanging relationship to an opening (7) through arm (16). Arm (18) extends towards closed end (9) and includes a guide tab (20) that extends angularly away from leg (2) towards open end (10). Tab (20) is operative to initiate separation of legs (2 and 6) to enhance receipt of an edge of a panel or plate (P) into open end (10).

Cette invention concerne une agrafe (100) qui comporte une paire de pattes espacées (2) et (6) partant d'une extrémité fermée (9) vers une extrémité ouverte (10) de ladite agrafe (100). La patte 6 comprend une paire de doigts flexibles (16 et 18) qui partent du côté de la patte (6) opposé à la patte (20) et se terminent en porte-à-faux par rapport à une ouverture (7) ménagée dans le doigt (16). Le doigt (18) se prolonge vers l'extrémité fermée (9) et comprend un ergot de guidage qui se prolonge à angle de la patte (2) vers l'extrémité ouverte (10). L'ergot de guidage (20) sert à amorcer la séparation des pattes (2 et 6) pour favoriser l'insertion d'un panneau ou d'une plaque (P) dans l'extrémité ouverte (10).
