A film comprising: (A) a base layer; and (B) a reinforcing layer adhered to (A); wherein (B) is made of a material that is tougher than (A), (B) forms a continuous layer over a surface of (A) and the thickness of (B) is less than 25% of the total thickness of (A) + (B). The film is useful to make tape products, which are, in turn, useful in packaging and as tear strips to open sealed packages. Preferably, base layer (A) comprises polypropylene and reinforcing layer (B) comprises polyethylene and the thickness of base layer (A) ranges from about 60 µm to about 125 µm and the thickness of reinforcing layer (B) ranges from about 2 µm to about 10 µm. More particularly, the thickness of reinforcing layer (B) ranges from about 3 µm to about 5 µm.
L'invention porte sur un film comportant: (A) une couche de base, et (B) une couche de renfort adhérant à (A), la couche (B) faite d'un matériau plus résistant que (A) est disposée de manière à revêtir en continu la surface de la couche (A). L'épaisseur de (B) est inférieure à 25 % de l'épaisseur totale de (A) + (B). Le film sert à produire des produits en rubans utilisables pour des emballages ou comme bandes à déchirer d'ouverture de paquets clos. La couche de base (A) est en polypropylène, et la couche de renfort (B), en polyéthylène. L'épaisseur de la couche de base est comprise entre environ 60 et environ 125 µm, et celle de la couche de renfort (B), entre environ 2 et environ 10 µm et plus particulièrement entre environ 3 et environ 5 µm.
