The invention concerns particles comprising a core and a coat covering at least part of the core surface. The core consists for more than 50% of an acidic metal oxide and the core coating is based on a polymer, preferably based on a soiled polymer with high electrochemical stability. The particle has a solubility rate (ts), in fixed time, of the metal oxide migrating towards the electrolyte, per cycle, which is less than 5 per 10000. The particles are obtained by mixing the polymer and a metal oxide, via dry process with addition of solvent. The electrodes constituting an electrode substrate at least partly coated with a mixture consisting of at least 40 of those particles have remarkable electrochemical properties, in particular regarding the lifetime of batteries in which they are incorporated.

Particules comprenant un noyau et un enrobage qui recouvre au moins en partie de la surface du noyau. Le noyau est compose pour plus de 50 % d'un oxyde métallique acide et l'enrobage du noyau est a base d'un polymère, de préférence a base d'un polymère sale de haute stabilité électrochimique. La particule possède un taux de solubilité (ts), a temps fixe, de l'oxyde métallique migrant vers l'électrolyte, par cycle, qui est inférieur a 5 pour 10000. Les particules sont obtenues par mélange du polymère et d'un oxyde métallique, par voie sec ou avec ajout de solvant. Les électrodes constituées d'un support d'électrode au moins partiellement recouvert par un mélange constitue d'au moins 40 de ces particules possèdent de remarquables propriétés électrochimiques, notamment en ce qui concerne la durée de vie des batteries dans lesquelles on les incorpore.
