A transparent coated substrate with high reflectance, especially for use as in exterior glazing panels for buildings, is provided by a substrate carrying a coating stack comprising a pyrolytically-formed main layer containing oxides of tin and antimony, in which the main layer has a geometric thickness of at least 250 nm and the stack includes an outer reflective layer having a geometric thickness in the range 30 to 150 nm and a refractive index in the range 2.0 to 2.8, whereby the so- coated substrate has a reflectance (RL) of more than 10%.

L'invention concerne un substrat à revêtement transparent à réflectance élevée, destiné en particulier à être utilisé dans des vitres extérieures de bâtiments, et obtenu par un substrat portant un empilement de couches de revêtement comportant une couche principale formée par pyrolyse, qui renferme des oxydes d'étain et d'antimoine. Cette couche principale présente une épaisseur géométrique d'au moins 250 nm, l'empilement comportant une couche extérieure réfléchissante qui présente une épaisseur géométrique comprise entre 30 et 150 nm et un indice de réfraction compris entre 2,0 et 2,8, ce qui confère au substrat ainsi recouvert une réflectance (RL) supérieure à 10 %.
