A coaxial cable continuity connector comprising a connector body, a post engageable with connector body, wherein the post includes a flange having a tapered surface, a nut, wherein the nut includes an internal lip having a tapered surface, wherein the tapered surface of the nut oppositely corresponds to the tapered surface of the post when the nut and post are operably axially located with respect to each other when the coaxial cable continuity connector is assembled, and a continuity member disposed between and contacting the tapered surface of the post and the tapered surface of the nut, so that the continuity member endures a moment resulting from the contact forces of the opposite tapered surfaces, when the continuity connector is assembled, is provided.
La présente invention se rapporte à un connecteur de continuité pour câble coaxial comprenant : un corps de connecteur ; une tige qui peut s'engager avec le corps du connecteur, la tige comprenant un rebord ayant une surface effilée ; un écrou, l'écrou comprenant une lèvre interne ayant une surface effilée, la surface effilée de l'écrou correspondant, de façon opposée, à la surface effilée de la tige quand l'écrou et la tige sont placés de façon opérationnelle dans le sens axial l'un par rapport à l'autre au moment où le connecteur de continuité pour câble coaxial est assemblé. Le connecteur de continuité pour câble coaxial selon l'invention comprend par ailleurs un organe de continuité qui est placé entre la surface effilée de la tige et la surface effilée de l'écrou et qui est en contact avec elles, de sorte que l'organe de continuité subit un moment provoqué par les forces de contact des surfaces effilées opposées au moment où le connecteur de continuité est assemblé.
