A coil device which is excellent in adaptability to deformation comprises a plurality of coils and a substrate for holding the coils. The coils are separated from each other and the substrate is made of a flexible member. This enables the coil device to mechanically deform and to adapt to the changes in application conditions such as deformation or extension and to suitably adapt as an electromagnetic circuit without necessity of adjustment. Arranging of the coils makes the coil device suitable for transmission cable.
