The invention relates to a collector pipe unit for a heat exchanger consisting of a block of several heat transmitting pipes. Said unit also has a collector pipe with a common slit into which the ends of heat transmitting pipes are inserted. According to the invention, the collector pipe is made up of one or several individual pipes that are fitted into each other or next to each other on the front face thereof with at least one respective, open longitudinal slit (2) on the front face of each individual pipe, whereby said slit is made before or after the collector pipe is assembled. This makes it possible to compensate manufacturing tolerances of the ends of the pipes that are inserted into the longitudinal slit with respect to the expansion thereof in the direction of said longitudinal slit. The invention can, for instance, be used in gas coolers and evaporators in CO2 air conditioning systems.

Unité tuyau collecteur pour un échangeur de chaleur doté d'un bloc de tuyaux constitué de plusieurs tuyaux échangeurs de chaleur. Ladite unité comporte en outre un tuyau collecteur dans la paroi duquel est ménagée une fente longitudinale destinée à l'introduction des extrémités des tuyaux échangeurs de chaleur. Selon la présente invention, le tuyau collecteur est constitué d'un ou plusieurs tuyaux individuels emboîtés de face les uns dans les autres ou assemblés de manière adjacente, et dotés chacun, sur une face avant (1b) de tuyau individuel, d'une fente longitudinale (2) ouverte ménagée avant ou après la construction du tuyau collecteur. Cela permet de compenser facilement les tolérances de fabrication des extrémités de tuyau introduites dans la fente longitudinale quant à leur expansion dans le sens de la fente longitudinale. La présente invention concerne également l'utilisation de ladite unité, par ex. pour des refroidisseurs de gaz et des évaporateurs dans des installations de conditionnement d'air à CO¿2?.
