Combinations of imidazole and/or one or more derivatives of imidazole which have the following general structural formula Image - wherein the radicals can have the following meaning: R1 = H or C(1-25) - alkyl, R2 = H or C(1-25) - alkyl, R3 = H or C(1-25) - alkyl, R4 = H or C(1-25) - alkyl, - wherein R4 can also, and preferably if R1, R2 and R3 are a hydrogen atom, be the radicals -CH2-CH2-NR5R6 and -CH2-CH(NR5R6)-COOR7, wherein R5 = H or C(1-25) - alkyl, R6 = H or C(1-25) - alkyl, R7 = H or C(1-25) - alkyl, and a substance which is active against microorganisms or a mixture from the group of lantibiotics.
