The invention relates to a herbicidally active agent that contains a mixture from A) a herbicidally active amount of one or more compounds of the formula (I), wherein X and Y are the same or different and represent hydrogen, halogen, for example fluorine. chlorine, bromine or iodide, Z represents -S-CHR1-COOR2, wherein R1 represents hydrogen or C1-C20 alkyl, preferably C1-C6 alkyl, R2 represents C1-C20 alkyl. C3-C8 cycloalkyl or C1-C10-alkoxy-C1-C10-alkyl, preferably C1-C6 alkyl, C4-C6 cycloalkyl or C1-C4-alkoxy-C1-C4 alkyl, or -COOR3, wherein R3 represents C1-C20 alkyl, preferably C1-C6 alkyl. or Y and Z together represent a group -O-CHR4-CO-NR5- that forms a ring with the phenyl ring, wherein R4 represents hydrogen or C1-C20 alkyl, preferably C1-C6 alkyl, and R5 represents C1-C20 alkyl, C2-C20 alkenyl or C2- C20 alkinyl, preferably C1-C6 alkyl, C3-C5 alkenyl or C3-C5 alkinyl; and B) an antidotically effective amount of one or more safeners.
