ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The combustion chamber comprises a combustion body that is prolonged at a downstream side by a nozzle neck and a diverging nozzle joined to said neck. At its upstream end, the chamber is provided with a device for connection to a propellant injector. The chamber is formed by a first part comprising the combustion body and the nozzle neck, and a second part comprising the diverging nozzle. The latter is prolonged towards the upstream end by a wall surrounding the first part while maintaining a clearance. Thus, according to the invention, the first and second parts are joined at a zone situated at the level of, or in proximity to, the upstream side of the chamber.
