The invention relates to a tool of a composite material for making a cylindrical part of a composite material, said tool being used for forming a mandrel on which the cylindrical part is to be formed, characterised in that it comprises a set of members (1) each defining a cylindrical sector of the tool, each member (1) having a bearing structure (2) of a fibre composite and a skin (3) moulded on the bearing structure (2), the tool further comprising sealing means (11, 12) to be arranged at the junctions between the tool members (1).

L'invention concerne un outil en matériau composite pour la réalisation d'une pièce cylindrique en matériau composite, l'outil étant destiné à constituer un mandrin sur lequel la pièce cylindrique sera formée, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un ensemble d'éléments (1) dont chacun constitue un secteur cylindrique de l'outil, chacun de éléments (1) comportant une structure porteuse (2) en composite de fibres et une peau (3) moulée sur la structure porteuse (2), l'outil comportant en outre des moyens d'étanchéité (11, 12) destinés à être placés aux jonctions entre les éléments (1) de l'outil.
