A B S T R A C T The invention relates to a composition suitable for the treatment of acne. The compositon of the present invention comprises as active ingredient an extract of a plant, more particularly the extract of the rhizoma of wheat grass (Graminis rhizoma) optionally in admixture with the extract of other plants and anti- bacterial agents. The cosmetical compositions of the present invention quickly make oily greasy acne skin relatively symptom-free, while iritating, allergic or light sensi- tizing side-effects are not observed.
