The invention provides a method for protecting a human passenger from solar W radiation wherein said passenger is in a vehicle having a transparent or translucent window, the method comprising providing a window having coated thereon or dispersed therein a UVA1 blocker and a UVB blocker. The invention also provides a vehicle or other device for transporting a human being, said device having a window through which solar UV radiation would pass and illuminate said being, the improvement comprising the window as described.

L'invention décrit un procédé conçu pour protéger un passager humain des rayons du soleil lorsque la personne se trouve dans un véhicule dont les vitres sont transparentes ou translucides. Ledit procédé comprend l'installation d'une glace recouverte d'un enduit bloquant les rayons UVA1 et UVB ou contenant un filtre du même genre dispersé dans sa composition. L'invention décrit aussi un véhicule ou autre appareil de transport de personnes muni d'une glace laissant passer les rayons UV qui éclairent ladite personne, le perfectionnement consistant à inclure le procédé, y compris la glace, décrit plus haut.
