An aqueous-based composition containing cesium formate and at least one chelating agent is described. Methods of removing scaling deposits, which may include alkaline earth metal surfates, present on surfaces, including porous media, such as alkaline earth metal sulfate buildup in a well bore, is also described, wherein the method includes contacting the alkaline earth metal sulfate with the compositions of the present invention to remove the scaling deposits. A completion fluid containing at least one alkali metal formate, at least one acid and/or at least one chelating agent, and optionally at least one surfactant or mutual solvent is also described. Methods of removing a filter cake from a well bore surface, which may include weighting agent such as calcium carbonate, is also described, wherein the method includes contacting the filter cake with the completion fluid of the present invention.
L'invention concerne une composition à base aqueuse contenant du formiate de césium et au moins un chélateur. L'invention concerne des procédés permettant de retirer des dépôts d'écaillage, par exemple des sulfates métalliques alcalino-terreux, se trouvant sur des surfaces, y compris sur des supports poreux, tels qu'une formation de sulfate métallique alcalino-terreux dans un puits de forage. Ce procédé consiste à mettre en contact le sulfate métallique susmentionné avec les compositions décrites dans cette invention, de manière à retirer les dépôts d'écaillage. Un fluide de complétion contenant au moins un formiate métallique alcalin, au moins un acide et/ou un chélateur, et éventuellement, au moins un tensio-actif ou un solvant commun. En outre, l'invention concerne des procédés permettant de retirer un gâteau de filtration de la surface d'un puits de forage, lequel gâteau peut comprendre des produits alourdissants tels que le carbonate de calcium. Ces procédés consistent à mettre en contact le gâteau de filtration avec le fluide de complétion décrit dans cette invention.
