A composition for facilitating delivery of biological agents, comprising a supramolecular complex including as constituents a block copolymer, having at least one nonionic, water soluble segment and at least one polyionic segment, and at least one charged surfactant having hydrophobic groups, the charge of the surfactant being opposite to that of the polyionic segment of the block copolymer. The constituents of the complex are bound by interaction between the opposite charges thereof and between surfactant hydrophobic groups. The complex may include an anionic surfactant having a biological activity, in which case the net charge of such anionic surfactant is no more than about 10.
L'invention concerne une composition destinée à faciliter la diffusion d'agents biologiques. Cette composition renferme un complexe supramoléculaire, composé d'un copolymère séquencé présentant au moins un segment non ionique hydrosoluble, au moins un segment polyionique, et au moins un tensioactif chargé présentant des groupes hydrophobes, les charges dudit tensioactif et dudit segment polyionique du copolymère séquencé étant opposées. Les composants de ce complexe sont liés par l'interaction entre ces charges opposées et par l'interaction entre le tensioactif et les groupes hydrophobes. Ce complexe peut en outre renfermer un tensioactif anionique présentant une activité biologique, auquel cas la charge totale de ce tensioactif anionique ne dépasse pas 10.
