ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to compound animal feedstuffs containing solid potassium dipropionate as a preservative. The feedstuff contains cereals and cereal by-products as major components, and vegetable and animal proteins as minor components. Solid potassium dipropionate has been found to be the most effective solid preservative when compared with calcium propionate or propionic acid adsorbed on a carrier.
