The present invention provides novel compounds and use of compounds of general formula (I) as ligands to the melanocortin receptors and/or for treatment of disorders in the melanocortin system: Wherein X and Y are independently chosen from O, N, S and (CH2)n, where n is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, or a combination of these and may contain carbon-carbon multiple bonds and branched chains as well as alicyclic and heterocyclic groups; Q is H or OH; R1 and R2 can be either the same or different and are chosen from hydrogen or the residue of an aromatic group as listed in Scheme 1 and the pharmacologically active salts thereof.

L'invention concerne de nouveaux composants et l'utilisation de composants de formule générale I comme ligands des récepteurs de la mélanocortine et/ou afin de traiter des troubles du système de la mélanocortine : dans laquelle X et Y sont choisis indépendamment à partir de O, N, S et (CH¿2?), où n vaut 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 ou 5, ou encore une combinaison de ceux-ci peut contenir de multiples liaisons carbone-carbone et des chaînes ramifiées ainsi que des groupes hétérocycliques et alicycliques; Q représente H ou OH; R¿1? et R¿2? peuvent être identiques ou différents et peuvent être hydrogène ou encore le résidu d'un groupe aromatique, tels qu'ils sont listés dans le schéma 1 et les sels pharmaceutiquement actifs de ceux-ci.
