The invention relates to a method for dehydrating clarification sludge in which an acidic oxidative preconditioning is combined with an inorganic subsequent conditioning, whereby the preconditioning involves an acidification of the clarification sludge and a catalytic partial oxidation by adding a hypostoichiometric quantity of hydrogen peroxide and iron ions at a pH-value ~5. Afterwards, an inorganic subsequent conditioning is carried out in which the acidified and partially oxidized clarification sludge is laced with alkaline earth. During the inorganic subsequent conditioning, enough calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2) is added such that the pH-value of the limed clarification sludge ranges from at least 9 to a maximum of 11 in order to accordingly dehydrate the conditioned clarification sludge in a mechanical manner.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour déshydrater des boues de curage, dans lequel un préconditionnement oxydatif acide est associé à un post-conditionnement inorganique. Le préconditionnement implique une acidification des boues de curage et une oxydation partielle catalytique par adjonction d'une quantité hypostoechiométrique de peroxyde d'hydrogène et d'ions fer à un pH </=5. Ensuite, un post-conditionnement inorganique est effectué, dans lequel les boues de curage acidifiées et partiellement oxydées sont mélangées avec une base alcalino-terreuse. Lors de ce post-conditionnement inorganique, une quantité suffisante d'hydroxyde de calcium (Ca(OH)2) est ajoutée pour que le pH des boues de curage blanchies se situe dans la plage de 9 au minimum à 11 au maximum, pour ensuite procéder à la déshydratation mécanique des boues de curage conditionnées.
