The invention relates to a surface burner for gas, comprising a gas supply chamber (5) enclosed by a burner membrane (2) at its gas outlet side and a coupling element (3) to connect it with the gas supply means (4), in which the surface of the membrane (2) is conically shaped, and the membrane is fixed to a support net (1) on the gas supply side. In a more specific embodiment, the burner membrane consists of a non-sintered, fabric-type structure made of heat resistant stainless steel fibres.

L'invention concerne un brûleur de gaz comprenant une chambre d'alimentation en gaz (5) entourée par une membrane (2) du côté de la sortie du gaz, ainsi qu'un élément d'accouplement (3) servant à accoupler le brûleur aux moyens d'alimentation en gaz (4), la surface de la membrane (2) présentant une forme conique et la membrane étant fixée à un filet de support (1) du côté de l'alimentation en gaz.
