ABSTRACT: An electrical connector for mounting to a printed circuit board includes a boardlock secured thereto by an interference fit. The boardlock has a first portion including means for securing the boardlock to the connector housing and a second portion. The second portion comprises spring means extending from the first portion to an end beyond the mounting face for reception in a boardlock receiving aperture in the printed circuit board. The spring means have a slot therebetween and barb means thereon with the barb means positioned along the spring means between the first portion and the end to engage wall means of the boardlock receiving aperture. 14411 CA
