A package for contact lenses (10) includes a first panel (14) having a housing mechanism (22) , such as receptacles or wells, for housing a set of contact lenses in the first panel and a covering layer (34) removably attached to the first panel for enclosing the set of contact lenses in the housing mechanism. The package also includes a second panel (16) attached to the first panel. The second panel is pivotable relative to the first panel between a first position, in which the second panel is folded onto the first panel, and a second position, in which the second panel is pivoted away from the first panel . When the second panel is positioned in its first position, the first and second panels form a substantially flat package which is adapted for display on a conventional display unit.

L'invention concerne un boîtier pour lentilles de contact (10) comprenant un premier panneau (14) possédant un mécanisme de logement (22), tel que des cuvettes ou des cupules, permettant de loger un ensemble de lentilles de contact dans le premier panneau, et une couche de recouvrement (34) fixée amovible au premier panneau et permettant de fermer l'ensemble de lentilles de contact dans le mécanisme de logement. Ce boîtier comprend également un second panneau (16) fixé au premier panneau. Le second panneau peut pivoter par rapport au premier panneau entre une première position, dans laquelle le second panneau est plié sur le premier panneau, et une seconde position résultant du pivotement du second panneau dans le sens opposé au premier panneau.
