Abstract of the Disclosure: System for suppression of pollution in fiber at- tenuating operations, especially in mineral fiber insulation blanket production. The system disclosed provides gas blast attenuation of the attenuable material in a fiber forming chamber and for recirculation of attenuating gases. There are disclosed various controls used in association with the gas recirculation system, provision being made for con- trolling the temperature,pressure and recirculation rate of the recirculating gases. Still further the system dis- closed includes provision for the spraying of water upon the recirculating gases, and there is disclosed means for recirculating the water and for controlling the temperature of the recirculating water. -1-
