The invention relates to an oven (1), especially a household finishing oven, which incorporates a cooking compartment (2), in which foods to be cooked can be accommodated and which can be closed with an oven door (3), wherein means are provided with which a hot stream of air and/or steam can be fed through the cooking compartment (2). In order to improve the heating of the cooked food, according to the invention, the means for passing a hot stream of air or steam through the cooking compartment (2) incorporate a ventilator (4), arranged on the side of the cooking compartment (2) away from the oven door (3), wherein the means additionally incorporate a flow-conduction channel (5) which extends above the cooking compartment (2) and leads from the ventilator (4) into the region of the oven door (3), wherein the flow-conduction channel (5) has an outlet (6) arranged above the oven door (3) and feeds heated air or steam downwards into the cooking compartment (2).

L'invention concerne un four (1), en particulier un four de cuisson pour une utilisation ménagère, qui comporte une chambre de cuisson (2) dans laquelle les aliments à cuire peuvent être introduits, et peut être fermé par une porte de four (3), des moyens étant prévus pour pouvoir amener un air chaud et/ou de la vapeur en flux traversant dans la chambre de cuisson (2).
