The invention relates to copolymers containing, while being incorporated by polymerization, tert-butyl(meth)acrylate, at least one .alpha.,.szlig.- ethylenically unsaturated amide group-containing compound and acrylic acid. The invention also relates to cosmetic and pharmaceutical agents containing at least one copolymer of the aforementioned type, and to the use of these copolymers.
