A cutting operation that is a finishing grinding pretreatment for a plate glass corner treatment is carried out using a corner cutter having, for example, upper and lower blades for cutting plate glass by opening and closing the respective upper and lower blades. The upper and lower blade edge lines of the upper and lower blades mutually oppose each other in the upper and lower blade edge section of a cutter body that is formed in an almost scissor shape. The same upper and lower blade edge lines almost coincide to the planned cut line of the corner section of the plate glass.
