The document retaining tab may be provided as a center tab and/or as at least one interior corner tab of the folder. The folder may be formed from a single sheet of die-cut material that is folded along a plurality of score lines to form the folder and center or corner tabs. The die-cut sheet may be provided with extended portions that may be used to form the center or corner tabs. The extended portions may be mirror images of one another:
