The invention relates to current switches using a differential transistor pair and operating under a low supply voltage Vcc. According to the invention, the current switch comprises two cascaded differential pairs of two transistors each (T1, T1b; T2, T2b), the second pair (T2, T2b) having complementary current outputs (H, Hb) that can be adjusted according to the state of the inputs (E, Eb). The first pair (T1, T1b) is connected to earth (GND) by a current source having a value lo and comprising a transistor (Ts1) which is polarised by a voltage Vbias, and is fed by a voltage equal to N.Vbe+Vbias, where N is a whole number (preferably equal to 1), and Vbe is the base-emitter voltage of the transistor (Ts1). The second pair (T2, T2b) is connected to earth directly by a resistance (R2). The invention can be applied to the on/off control of sample-and-hold devices, multiplexers, low-voltage rapid logic circuits, etc.
L'invention concerne les commutateurs de courant utilisant une paire différentielle de transistors et pouvant fonctionner sous une faible tension d'alimentation Vcc. Selon l'invention on prévoit que le commutateur de courant comporte deux paires différentielles de deux transistors chacune (T1, T1b; T2, T2b), en cascade, la deuxième paire (T2, T2b) ayant des sorties complémentaires en courant (H, Hb) basculant selon l'état des entrées (E, Eb). La première paire (T1, T1b) est reliée à une masse (GND) par une source de courant de valeur lo, comprenant un transistor (Ts1) polarisé par une tension Vbias, et elle est alimentée par une tension égale à N.Vbe+Vbias, où N est un nombre entier (de préférence égal à 1), et Vbe est la tension de base-émetteur du transistor (Ts1). La deuxième paire (T2, T2b) est reliée à la masse directement par une résistance (R2). Application à la commande en tout ou rien d'échantillonneurs bloqueurs, de multiplexeurs, de circuits logiques rapides à faible tension, etc.
