ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A cutting and clamping sleeve contact is disclosed for contacting a telecomunication cable core transversely to the sleeve contact axis. The sleeve contact includes a circular metal shell which includes a clamping slot for securely holding the insulated cable core. A central portion extends radially across the shell and includes a cutting and clamping contact slot for electrically contacting the cable core for the strip-less termination of the cable core.
