A flexible and economical data transmission pedestal is disclosed. The pedestal has a cover section and a base section, with the base section comprising two asymmetrical parts, a front and a rear. Removing the cover and the front part allow full access to the connections between service lines and a cable. The three piece pedestal also allows any part to be easily replaced if damaged or a whole new pedestal may easily be placed around a cable-service line connection, all without interrupting customer service.
La présente divulgue une prise de plancher souple et économique pour la transmission de données. La prise de plancher a une section couvercle et une section base, cette dernière comportant deux parties asymétriques, une avant et une arrière. En retirant le couvercle et la partie avant, on accède complètement aux connexions entre les lignes de service et un câble. La prise de plancher en trois pièces permet également le remplacement facile de toute pièce endommagée ou on peut facilement placer une nouvelle prise de plancher autour d'une connexion entre un câble et une ligne de service, le tout sans interrompre le service à la clientèle.
