A rear worm drive shaft (60) for a Davenport~ multi-spindle automatic screw machine, comprises: a shaft first part (61) having a portion with a first hardness; a shaft second part (62) having a portion with a second hardness, said second hardness being greater than the first hardness; and a coupling (63) adapted to join the shaft first and second parts in an axially-aligned relation and to prevent relative rotation therebetween. The improved shaft may be changed on a Davenport~ screw machine is about one-half hour.
L'invention concerne un arbre d'entraînement de vis arrière (60) destiné à une machine à vis automatique multibroche Davenport®, comprenant: une première partie d'arbre (61) comportant une portion d'une première dureté, une seconde partie d'arbre (62) comportant une portion d'une seconde dureté, cette seconde dureté étant supérieure à la première; et un couplage (63) conçu de manière à assembler les première et seconde parties de l'arbre dans une relation axialement alignée et d'empêcher la relation relative entre elles. L'arbre amélioré peut être modifié sur la machine à vis Davenport® en environ ½ heure.
