P.32 ABSTRACT In order to determine the existence of misorientation in a crystal , the crystal is irradiated with X-rays, and the X-rays received from the crystal are imaged. The images or Laue spots can be examined in a number of different ways. One way is to count the number of spots . Crystals which are twinned crystals or bicrystals produce approximately double the number Laue spots compared to single, non-maccled crystals.
