The invention relates to a device for communicating with a portable data medium using a power signal (AL) supplied by an electric energy source (4), a control signal (SC1) and a data transmission signal (I/O). Said device comprises means (5) for interrupting the power signal (AL) to the medium (2) from the source if the medium does not cooperate with the device (1), means (8) for storing electric energy received from the source and said power signal to the medium (2) when the source does not supply same, data processing means (3) ensuring transmission of said signals (AL, SC1, I/O) to the medium according to a predetermined sequencing, as well as for detecting the interruption of the supply of the power signal (AL) from the source, then for triggering the interruption of the other signals (SC1, I/O) according to said predetermined sequencing during the supply from the energy storage means.
L'invention concerne un dispositif pour communiquer avec un support de données portable en utilisant au moins un signal d'alimentation (AL) fourni par une source d'énergie électrique (4), un signal de commande (SC1), et un signal de transmission de données (I/O), caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend: des moyens (5) pour interrompre la fourniture du signal d'alimentation (AL) au support à partir de la source si celui-ci ne coopère pas avec le dispositif (1); des moyens (8) pour stocker de l'énergie électrique reçue de la source et fournir ledit signal d'alimentation au support lorsque la source ne le fournit plus; des moyens de traitement de l'information (3) agencés pour assurer une transmission desdits signaux (AL, SC1, I/O) au support selon un séquencement prédéterminé, ainsi que pour détecter l'interruption de la fourniture du signal d'alimentation (AL) à partir de la source, puis déclencher l'interruption des autres signaux (SC1, I/O) selon ledit séquencement prédéterminé pendant la fourniture du signal d'alimentation à partir des moyens de stockage d'énergie.
