ABSTRACT A tubular frame (14) with a suspended vertical cheek (19) supports a set of driving pulleys (20), tension pulleys (21, 22, 23) and a tension setting pulley (24). A belt (25) of circular section runs over these pulleys and cooperates with a lower conveyor (18) to fold the parts of the compound flaps (1 and 37) of a box blank (3). Several vertical cheeks (19) can be mounted side-by-side to process all the compound flaps of the box bland (3). The linear speed of the belt (25) is equivalent to the speed of the belt (26) of the lower conveyor (18). The device is used in cardboard processings for folding and main- taining of the flaps of box blanks.
