ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for cathodic protection against corrosion of metal parts in which any electrolyte present on the surface of the metal parts is positively charged with the aid of an electrode and a voltage source with respect to the metal surface to be protected. The electrode is electrically insulated with respect to the metal parts and rests on the metal surface to be protected, extending linearly or two dimensionally or three dimensionally over wide regions of said metal surface.
