The invention relates to a device for automatically replacing heatable tools in a suitable device, said heatable tools being used for finishing milled profile surfaces of workpieces that are made of wood and timber products. The aim of the invention is to insert within a short period of time heatable tools that are provided with a different profile structure so as to sustainably increase productivity in previously known methods for finishing surfaces. Said aim is achieved by providing the inventive device with a machine-fixed seat (1) and an adapter (13) which thermally insulates the heatable tool (7) from the seat (1). Said adapter (13) is fixed and locked at a conical intersecting point (2) of the seat (1), which comprises detachable connections (10) transmitting power to the heating medium, e.g. a heating cartridge (9), whereby the heated tools can be removed from the machining station and be stored in a device before and after the finishing process while new (pre)heated tools (7) having different profile shapes are placed in the machining station.

L'invention concerne un dispositif qui permet de remplacer automatiquement des outils chauffants servant à améliorer des surfaces de profilés fraisées de pièces en bois ou en matériaux dérivés du bois, dans un dispositif prévu à cet effet. L'objectif de l'invention est d'insérer, à intervalles brefs, des outils chauffants présentant des profils de différentes formes, et par conséquent d'augmenter de façon durable la productivité des procédés de traitement de surface connus. A cet effet, le dispositif selon l'invention comporte un logement (1) faisant partie intégrante de la machine et un adaptateur (13) qui assure l'isolation thermique de l'outil chauffant (7) par rapport audit logement (1). L'adaptateur (13) est maintenu bloqué dans un élément de jonction (2) conique du logement (1) ; en outre, il est fait appel à des connexions libérables (10) pour la transmission d'énergie au fluide chauffant, par exemple à une cartouche chauffante (9). Il est ainsi possible, avant et après le processus d'amélioration, d'entreposer dans un dispositif les outils chauffés provenant de la station de traitement et de les remplacer dans la station de traitement par de nouveaux outils (7) (déjà) chauffés présentant d'autres formes de profils.
