The invention provides an apparatus that can be used in methods of preparing, amplifying, detecting, and/or optionally selecting for further analysis the genomic material from an organism for the rapid detection and/or classification of an organism in a sample (e.g., screening for, identifying, quantifying, and/or optionally further analyzing, e.g., sequencing, the genomic material of the organism). The invention further provides methods of using the apparatus, e.g., in combination with novel SGP primers for improved use in waveform-profiling methods of DNA amplification. It is an object of the invention to provide an apparatus for fully automated analysis of genomic material, and multiple methods of using the apparatus that are beneficial to society, e.g., the apparatus may be used in methods of screening for, identifying, quantifying, and/or selecting genomic material for further analysis (e.g., sequencing) in relation to monitoring a source for the presence of contaminating organisms.
L'invention porte sur un appareil utilisable dans des méthodes de préparation, amplification, détection, et/ou facultativement de sélection en vue d'analyses ultérieures de matériau génomique d'un organisme pour permettre la détection rapide et/ou le classement d'un organisme présent dans un échantillon (par exemple à des fins de criblage pour identifier, quantifier, et/ou procéder à une analyse ultérieure, notamment pour séquencer le matériau génomique d'un organisme). L'invention porte également les méthodes d'utilisation de l'appareil par exemple en association avec les nouvelles amorces SGP pour permettre une utilisation améliorée des méthodes de profilage, par les formes ondes, d'amplifications d'ADN. L'invention porte également sur un appareil d'analyse entièrement automatique de matériaux génomiques, sur ses multiples méthodes d'utilisation bénéficiant à la société et notamment à des fins de criblage pour identifier, quantifier, et/ou sélectionner des matériaux génomiques en vue d'une analyse ultérieure (par exemple séquençage) en relation avec l'observation d'une source pour y déceler la présence d'organismes contaminants.
