It is intended to provide a diagnostic for eating disorder which contains, as the active ingredient, an antibody against a brain-derived neurotrophic factor and a method of examining eating disorder which comprises measuring the concentration of the brain-derived neurotrophic factor in blood. Eating disorder can be easily diagnosed particularly by measuring the concentration of the brain-derived neurotrophic factor in the blood of a patient with the use of an antibody against the brain-derived neurotrophic factor and a labeled antibody against the brain-derived neurotrophic factor.
L'invention se rapporte à un agent diagnostique pour trouble de l'alimentation qui contient, en tant que principe actif, un anticorps dirigé contre un facteur neurotrophique dérivé du cerveau. L'invention se rapporte également à un procédé d'examen d'un trouble de l'alimentation qui consiste à mesurer la concentration dudit facteur neurotrophique dérivé du cerveau dans le sang. Il est possible d'établir facilement un diagnostic d'un trouble de l'alimentation notamment en mesurant la concentration du facteur neurotrophique dérivé du cerveau dans le sang d'un patient au moyen d'un anticorps dirigé contre ce facteur neurotrophique dérivé du cerveau et d'un anticorps étiqueté dirigé contre ce facteur neurotrophique dérivé du cerveau.
