PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention concerne un diaphragme utilisable notamment dans des cellules d'électrolyse. Ce diaphragme est constitué d'une feuille poreuse dont une partie du volume poreux est occupée par une résine échangeuse d'ions, le pourcentage du volume des pores occupé par ladite résine étant compris entre 8 et 30 %. Ces diaphragmes permettent, dans des cellules d'électrolyse du chlorure de sodium, d'obtenir des concentrations élevées en soude avec un excellent rendement.
