There is described a novel diffusion transfer film unit for use in a diffusion transfer photographic system which includes a layer comprising a polyester urethane polymer(s) which is inert to alkali, and specifically, a layer which exhibits permeability to alkali inversely dependent upon temperature. Diffusion transfer photographic systems utilizing the diffusion transfer film unit of the present invention exhibit superior hot temperature processing.

Cette invention a trait à un nouveau film de diffusion-transfert utilisable dans un procédé photographique par diffusion-transfert, lequel film comporte une couche contenant un, voire plusieurs, polymère de polyester uréthane chimiquement inerte en face de l'alcali et, plus particulièrement, une couche faisant montre d'une perméabilité à l'alcali qui est fonction inverse de l'élévation de la température. Les procédés photographiques de diffusion-transfert faisant intervenir le film selon l'invention témoignent d'une aptitude supérieure au traitement à chaud.
