A disposable article to be fitted to a wearer and other types of articles having a detection device, such as a diagnostic panel that may, in one set of embodiments, include at least one biosensor, each including at least one bio- recognition element. The biosensor is adapted to detect a target biological analyte in body substances, and on/or through the wearer's skin. The diagnostic panel may be adapted to determine the physical condition or state of well being of a mammal, or the cause of a particular disease state, such as diarrhea, vaginal infections, sexually transmitted diseases ("STD's"), and other diseases, and to signal the caretaker, the wearer, or an actuator of the occurrence. Examples of physical conditions of the state of well being include, but are not limited to, ovulation and the onset of menstruation.
L'invention concerne un article jetable conçu pour un utilisateur et d'autres types d'articles comprenant un dispositif de détection, notamment un élément de diagnostic équipé, selon certains modes de réalisation, d'au moins un biocapteur, chacun comprenant au moins un élément de bio-reconnaissance. Le biocapteur est conçu pour dépister un analyte biologique cible dans des substances biologiques et sur ou à travers la peau de l'utilisateur. L'élément de diagnostic sert à déterminer les symptômes physiques ou le bien-être d'un mammifère ou encore la cause d'une maladie particulière, telle que la diarrhée, les infections vaginales, les maladies transmises sexuellement et d'autres pathologies et à signaler une déjection à l'attention du personnel soignant, de la personne portant l'article ou d'un actionneur. Sont traités ici les symptômes physiques ou le bien-être lors de l'ovulation et au début de la menstruation, entre autres.
