The dog-food dressing according to the invention contains 5 to 20 % by weight raw proteins, 2 to 5 % by weight sugar-containing nutrients, 3 to 8 % by weight edible oils with a high amount of linolic acid, 0.5 to 1.5 % by weight flavouring agents and/or aroma substances, 0.5 to 8 % by weight minerals and/or trace elements, 1000 to 10000 I.U. vitamin A per kg dressing, 100 to 1000 I.U. vitamin D3 per kg dressing, 0.005 to 0.2 % by weight further vitamins, 0.1 to 5 % by weight preservatives, 0.01 to 0.05 % by weight antioxidants, and 52.250 to 88.885 % by weight water.
