The present invention relates to a wood composite panel having a major planar portion, at least one panel portion, and an inwardly extending contoured portion surrounding the panel portion and interconnecting the major planar portion and the panel portion. The contoured portion defines an inter- relationship between a vector angle and a deep draw depth that achieve a satisfactory stretch factor. The present invention also relates to a door having the diclosed wood composite door facings, and methods of forming the facing and door.
L'invention concerne un panneau composite en bois présentant un plateau principal, au moins une partie panneau et une partie à relief en creux qui entoure la partie panneau et le relie au plateau principal. La partie en relief en creux définit une inter-relation entre un angle vecteur et une profondeur d'emboutissage profond permettant d'obtenir un facteur d'étirement satisfaisant. Cette invention concerne également une porte comportants les parements en bois composite susdécrits ainsi que des procédés de fabrication des parements et de la porte.
