ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Dry, free-flowing ammonium nitrate explosive compositions comprising a mixture of particulate ammonium nitrate, carbonaceous fuel and at least one carbonaceous fuel-soluble polymer selected from the group consisting of (1) polymers characterized by an h/c value of at least about 1, and (2) polymers characterized by an h/c value of less than 1 and by a viscosity average molecular weight of at least about 90,000.
