2059285 9015584 PCTABS00002 The invention relates to an ear protector comprising an ear pad (2) and an ear shell (1) to which a bracket (15) is mounted for connecting two ear protectors with each other, there being interposed between the ear pad and the shell one or more damping layers (4, 5, 6) of plastic. According to the invention between the ear pad (1) and the ear shell (2) a diaphragm (3) is interposed on opposite sides of which at least one insert layer (5, 6) may be provided.
